Dandruff flakes leave the scalp but stick to the hair?

I am a 19 yr old guy with short hair. I have always had some amount of dandruff which I was able to keep under control through regular shampooing and conditioning. But that was when I had long hair and therefore dandruff wasnt much visible then. Howeve even sincer when I cut my hair short a couple of weeks back the dandruff is pretty visible on the hair. I have tried using seeral anti-dandruff shampoos and even home remdedies but they dont seem to help. The problem is that the dandruff flakes leave my scalp when i wash my hair but stick to my hair and dont come off no matter how much water i pour on it. what to do guys ? Please help me out here

There is a shampoo called TGel, which you can get at Walmart. I used it a few years ago, and it worked really really well.

Stop using styling products.

Use Selsun shampoo,the medicated one.

don't use conditioner for a week only shampoo and brush alot with a comb

If you hair is curly it is hard to get it off but if it is straight then just brush it off. And the shorter the hair, the better. You can get medical help
